IF A LEAF FALLS,
WILL ANYONE HEAR IT?
so many leaves that sprung from one plant
the fall season hit and all fell and the plant was hopeless to regain
the following spring the plant became strong again
this plant continued to age, but began to sprout again
by the summer it had grown two more leaves
this plant was uprooted and regrown in a much different climate
but it continued to stay strong for it's two little leaves
and they grew
one tame,
on wild, as it always should be
the summer grew to an end and the plant began to wither
the tame leaf will always remain with the plant
till death do them part
but the wild leaf
this wild leaf wonders
when will her fall begin?
she knows that following the autumn season
will come the harsh, dry, cruel winter
but spring is always around the corner,
where she can begin to grow her own leaves,
maybe she will be uprooted
maybe she will wither and die
will this wild leaf ever know?
that is the real question
will her autumn arrive?
